A letter from the founders
Why we do this
We started msr. because we kept having the same conversation. Shipping moves almost everything the world trades, yet very few investors take the time to understand it. The companies are cyclical, the data is scattered and the sector is easy to dismiss.
We think that is an opportunity for people willing to do the work. So we set ourselves a few simple rules: invest our own money first, write every decision down, respect the cycle and own quality companies for the long term.
We are at the start. Until January 2027 we run the portfolio on paper, testing our process before real capital goes in. We will be open about what we do, in our monthly letter and in our quarterly reports, and we would like to meet the people who make Gothenburg's maritime cluster what it is.
